The BM was a highlight of my last trip to London, particularly this gorgeous new roof over the Great Court. But when I went it was a grey and rainy, so I didn’t get to see this fabulous grid of shadows that photographer Stephen K saw on a sunny day. As one of the commentors says, it looks like an artist’s conception of something that would never actually get built. But it’s real, and really gorgeous.

Mine didn’t quite get the fabulous shadows either, and it’s an old photo with a rubbish digicam, but here it is anyway!
I like that yours catches the original cupola in the Reading Room to contrast it with the new glass roofing – that’s very nicely composed.
