I think about the history of ATMs when I hear all the nervous Nellies wetting their pants over electronic voting machines. I believe those worries are totally misplaced. Now don’t get me wrong ““ there’s a 100% chance that the voting machines will get hacked and all future elections will be rigged. But that doesn’t mean we’ll get a worse government. It probably means that the choice of the next American president will be taken out of the hands of deep-pocket, autofellating, corporate shitbags and put it into the hands of some teenager in Finland. How is that not an improvement?
The comments are fun, too. (He’s got them set so that the newest are at the top though, which I hate, and it took me a while to figure out that the reason the discussion seemed disjointed was that I was reading it backwards. I had to scroll down to the bottom of the page for the first comment and then page back up. Hatessss.)

Scott has an unfortunate superiority complex when it comes to technology. ‘if we have it, we must use it, anyone who demurs is a nervous nellie or other demeaning epithet.’ i haven’t read his blog in a long time but his take on Intelligent Design was, to say the least, weird. Rather disappointing for a diehard Dilbert fan.
