Feminist Carnival time! Put your submissions in.

The deadline for the Eighth Down Under Feminists’ Carnival is before New Year, so get your December submissions in now! It could be a post you’ve written or a post you’ve read, or lots of both of the above, so long as it comes from the keyboard of an Australian or New Zealand feminist blogger.

All the guidelines are at the Carnival homepage, and the carnival submission form is at Blogcarnival. If you can’t access the form, you can use the Hoyden contact instead.

While any topics are welcome, Stephanie (stephiepenguin) is particularly interested in posts around feminism and intersectionality, particularly race and/or ethnicity.

Please reprint this call on your blog, and get your submissions in (or your writing underway) now! When you do this, feel free to hotlink the logo, and please link to the main carnival page (which is linked from the logo).

In addition, we have no hosts locked in after this carnival. A few people have contacted me, but the conversations have fizzled out. I don’t want to pressure you if you’ve changed your mind, so if you are still interested in hosting a carnival, please drop me a line! If you’re a regular reader, or perhaps you have had your posts featured, and you haven’t hosted a carnival yet, think about putting your hand up. I’d like to spread the love (and the hits) around as much as possible. If you’ve hosted before and you’re willing to host another one, that would be great too.
