How easy it is to dismiss assault as something else. This is disgusting and nothing “clinical” occured there. How could anyone let alone a child consent to assault. The asshattery of some people is astounding.

Wow. First off, I’m having a very difficult time getting my brain around the idea that a reputable piercer would even perform a genital piercing on anyone under 17 or 18. Oh wait…a reputable piercer most likely wouldn’t, although I wish I could say that inappropriate touching were uncommon during genital piercing generally, even by people with otherwise stellar reputations.

I’m also surprised that the law would permit it (but that may be my puritan USian talking). By which I mean, non-ear piercing if anything that young without parental permission.

Argh. Just enraging all around and shame on that judge for making excuses for these scumbags.

I was disgusted that it wasn’t called rape, disgusted at the sentence, and disgusted that somehow these two children have become convinced that they needed these piercings. I can’t put my feelings about the rapists into polite words so I won’t.
