I always felt that those early pin-up days overshadowed her life terribly: recognised more for personal woes appealing to the tabloid press than any work she did. Yet I still remember The Burning Bed vividly, and the discussion that it raised way back in 1984.
Great work, Farrah. Condolences to your loved ones.

I’m not sure if it was Farrah that I saw as a Charlie’s Angel or Cheryl Ladd, but I still remember being impressed as a young child that women could kick arse too. I know Charlie’s Angels isn’t perfect, but it made a lasting impression on me, in a good way.
She was in Charlies Angles. I cannot say that I followed her career or was even really a fan but I did feel terrible when I realized that mourning her death would quickly be cast aside the moment Michael Jackson’s death was announced. It is kind of like being the band that performed after the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. No one remembers who the hell they are.
