Nice articles Viv. The planned parenthood stories I’ve read today have been so enlightening- I hope they are widely linked enough to have people who are anti-choice read them.

On a happier note, anyone interested in soccer should check out the women’s world cup tonight. This article on why women’s athletics is worth watching is really good, if you haven’t already recced it. Having watched the three Matilda’s games so far I can vouch for the high skill level and dynamic play.

The Ed Miliband loop. Interesting article about politicians who repeat soundbites to the point of absurdity.

Great links! By coincidence, I just today got into a debate with a scoundrel and the economic information in the “Lightworker” post you linked to will come in handy. Quite handy.

Also, I’m surprised Google+ won’t allow usernames. What kind of thinking goes into a decision like that one?

I’ve got two links for you. First, a brief, well-written account by of dealing with religiously inspired guilt by a former Christian. She’s inspired a nice discussion on guilt.

Second, a series of links to blogs discussing everything from visiting a nude resort to gay bashing. There’s quotes from each blog in addition to the links.
