I also found this a very warm and funny read. She does touch a little on the way women are treated in comedy and the arts but admit I wanted a bit more. I really liked a lot of the reflections on parenting; particularly breastfeeding and also dealing with sexually active teens. For a feminist mother I think this is a good, non-jarring holiday read. Those can be hard to find for humourless feminists like me :P

This is one of those books I’ve been meaning to read for ages – will add it to the ‘definitely will read’ list now.

I read this a while ago and enjoyed it, it’s a fun memoir and I always enjoy her stints on Spicks & Specks (RIP)

Thanks for sharing your review for the AWW challenge

She did a solo festival show based on the book a few years back. Don’t know whether she’s still touring with it now and then.
