Librans? Are you lot into astrology?

    Words fail me..

All this esoterica, way too much for a bucolic rustic lad.
    Ah, yes, librarians.
ABC does a sitcom on them, sort of “Dad’s Army” or “Are You Being Served” wearing half-moons. Type of show a dysfunctional person can watch with a degree of relief because it diverts to the proposition that a supposedly more competent class of people are even more dysfunctional.
Whoodah thunk you could raise any laugh out of librarians, let alone a fair few in one program?

    Have a good day.

Angharad, that is a very, eh, Welsh name isn’t it?
    Sort of like Rhiannon?

There’s no uncertainty about it whatsoever. It is a completely Welsh name. In fact it was the most popular Welsh woman’s name in the 13th century. Sadly I am not remotely Welsh. Although I was in an earthquake there once.

I’ll have you know I was forced, FORCED, I tell you, to sing the Piano Ape aloud to my husband just now. Well, it seemed necessary anyway.

xkcd is always good for some whimsy, but here is one that brings a couple of blog interests together.

Is it only me who thought of the programming language when I saw “Ook! Ook?” in the title?

I just put this pic up on the Media Circus thread for topical discussion, but I think it belongs in the brain bleach repository too.

I was a bit surprised when I saw it on TV that the Gillard, Clinton and their media advisors would set up a photo opportunity like that. This sort of stuff doesn’t happen by mistake, someone planned it, its the message they want sent out.
