It’s amazing how, at the very very end of a massive project, one can lack motivation. I have minor corrections to my PhD thesis before it is DONE and AWARDED and they are draaaaaging.

I hate that feeling, but I know it all ltoo well. Still, nearly DONE, yay!

Well done Mary! You will get there, and it will be awesome! :)

I have had a busy week, I got back from Italy last Saturday (but was too busy trying to stay awake all day to do anything) and have since been planning all sorts of things and writing assignments. Yesterday I made a Roman stola and gap-sleeved tunic to wear on Market Day, which is where all the clubs at my uni advertise themselves. I’m the president of the Classics and Ancient History Society, it is awesome! But a lot of work.

Today I am heading up the coast to see my person and babysit so he and his wife can go out for dinner.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far!

I love that costume, Mindy. George Takei finds the most delightful things.

Doesn’t he though. I love how his fans send him things they think he will like and he shares them with everyone.

I also really liked that the article talks about George and his husband without making a big deal of it. It’s just what it is and that’s cool.

What’s wrong with [three things nobody has mentioned so far on this thread redacted]?

Moderator note: how about introducing your combative question by sharing what prompted you to ask Hoyden About Town about it? Seeing as this appears to be your first time here.
