tigtog (aka Viv) lives in Sydney, Australia: husband, 2 kids, cat, house, garden, just enough wine-racks and (sigh) far too few bookshelves. You can read more about Viv on her bio page.

Wow, and spoilers ahoy in that programme blurb! (This is why I never even watch the “next on” segments…)

It took them a month to get a copy to broadcast? The ABC should talk to the many, many customers its slackness turned into “pirates” – it took them about half an hour.

The only trouble with having a disabled Doctor is the running down lots of corridors bit. Nice quick scooter solves that but then leaves you with the daleks/stairs conundrum. Oooo, how about a hover chair!!! I’d go for one of those. =8-)

    Really really long bendy arms?
    Trained squirrels?
A pogo stick! I’d love a pogo stick.
Maybe there could be a Dr Who/Inspector Gadget mashup.

Anyone know if it’s going to be on iView or whatever it is? Don’t have a telly :(

If the (next) next doctor’s going to be a black, Welsh, disabled lesbian, I vote she be played by Kermit the Frog.

Well there’s the Children In Need special for this year sorted.

Still, as she is wearing the trademark Lady Macbeth style of evil-wench-red-dress, was it ever meant to be an especially large line of suspense?

Oh, there are just shows where I’m more spoiler-allergic than others. With Doctor Who, I love the plot-setup reveals in the first five minutes of each show – they’re possibly my favourite bits. So I avoid all the publicity I can (except for Doctor casting spoilers).

I always try and avoid spoilers but still manage to encounter a few too many for the finales!

It was a good show (just downloaded it), but they jumped on steampunk so had they squashed it, and the Doctor literally saving orphans from a burning building was a bit too much.

Giant robot was cool though. Liked they went for the traditional glowing red eyes. I like tradition in my giant robots.
