No longer HaT’s Dr Who abstainer, I saw the 50th anniversary episode, the last Christmas episode and I have every intention of watching the first Capaldi episode and seeing how it goes. Thus, a thread!
Once the ABC and BBC broadcasts begin, this thread should be assumed to contain spoilers.
Australian Whovian tragics don’t get an early (ie only a few hours after the UK) peek this year. We have to wait for 7:30pm on Boxing Day like any old muggle! How on earth will we manage?

Conflicting responses from me in this episode – I liked the noirish atmosphere and the big picture, BUT just how many annoyingly obvious plotholes can one episode have?
