I hadn’t especially considered whether improvements could be made here for those who are Deafblind, and I have no idea (yet) what their specific needs are for web access.

It’s now on my to-do list.

Sex Bias in BioMedicine

Women remain vastly underrepresented in biomedical research despite significant differences in the way they experience many diseases, medications and therapies compared to men. Quickhit: new discoveries on the genetics of autism

The search for the genetic underpinnings of autism spectrum disorder has just yielded a new set of clues. In the largest study to date, the Autism Genome Project consortium reports that people with autism have more copy number variants – segments of DNA that have been either duplicated or deleted – in their genes.
