So disappointed and angry about DtJ excluding the voices of women with disabilities from their #beingawoman discussions; it’s especially appalling that DtJ community admins have blocked simple announcements about the upcoming White Flower Memorial gathering to commemorate women, men and children with disabilities who have died as a result of violence, neglect or abuse.

The giants who strode the political landscape of my youth are toppling one by one, leaving only gnats swarming over the entrails of serious political principles while Big Money shakes shiny things at us all, politicians very much included.

Contrast the government’s war on welfare with the rhetoric surrounding critics of the increasing wealth gap as advocates of “class warfare”. Hmm.

I see an old post of mine about the Angels and their lead singer Doc Neeson and a certain song is getting some traffic over the last few days since his death. Looking at pictures, I can still feel that amazing energy he put into his performance.
