Except the dog was four times this size, the swans were black and the cygnets were still in their eggs in a nest. In our local big park.

Last week it was Melbourne, I think Perth got blustery the week before, this week it’s Sydney. The photo below was taken by a Washington State photographer a few years ago, it was just the most appropriate shot I found in a quick image search.

I meant to put this up yesterday: this is a shot of Sprog the Elder back in 2003, on an outing to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney. You can see that he has a little friend helping him to subdue the scary statue.
