    Idunno if Canberra is some kind of feminist bastion, but all the stuff I ever read about the design of Canberra (eg the old NCDC exhibition, to prove my decrepitude) mentioned Mahony prominently. On the other hand, there’s Lake Burley Griffin, but I can’t think of a Mahony landmark in Canberra.

    Robyn Archer (Centenary of Canberra Creative Director) has announced: “Marion will be acknowledged at the top of Mount Ainslie (where one can see the grid clearly , just as her first drawings imagined it) with the naming of Marion’s View as part of the Centenary celebrations.”
