When 1 in 10 Americans are collecting food stamps, which translates into 32.2 million people now is not the time to turn poverty and coping skills into some from of infotainment to shame those that take what some would consider to be unconventional means to cope. Poverty is not some form of “lifestyle choice,” nor is it meant to be discussed in the form of shaming. The capitalist system breeds inequality and class warfare.
