Ah, I have written a response to the recent Feministing chat that might be of interest to some folks here.
Also, people who loathe Freakonomics might also enjoy this link-dense coverage at the Language Log. Particularly I got a lot out of the link to Brad deLong’s exhaustive takedown of the chapter on climate change.
Hmm, I just realized people might not be familiar with that…it’s an angry condemnation of Feministing for its unapologetic oppression of women with disabilities, basically.
That’s a thought-provoking sentiment.
