So of course, most unoriginally, I link to a previous Shakespearian moment that they shared: Ist I Bother-ed?

  1. T told me about this last week – apparently I’m meant to be buying tickets as as we will be in the vicinity for a week or so during the production run 🙂

    • Good luck getting them! This will undoubtedly be one of those sold-out runs where traditionalists will tut-tut about celebrity Shakespeare casting ruining the purity of the craft while conveniently forgetting that both Tennant and Tate are classically trained with repertory backgrounds. I hope T is prepared to find that it might not work out just because you’re there 😦

  2. True. Good thing we have people already there who can book for us as soon as they are available, rather than turning up at the door and hoping there are empty seats 🙂

    • That does make it easier! I’m sure it would be possible to do an online booking from overseas, but it still has all sorts of complications with which it is potentially fraught.

  3. I just had that strange and marvelous realisation that I am, in fact, on *that* side of the planet. Also that’s very close to my birthday. *concocts plan* Thanks for posting about this – I’d never have known otherwise, and that could have been a tragedy!

  4. Nooooooo! What malevolent forces of fate have placed me on the other side of the world? What limbs can I sell to get over there?
