Whoydensday: In which Chally knits a Dalek

That’s right, I knitted a Dalek, using a slightly modified version of this pattern. I found it a challenge, but it looks amazing, even if I do say so myself. Here it is from the front:
A gold Dalek with silver accents and gold and silver beads as its bobbles. The plunger and ray gun are made of silver pipecleaners, and the eyestalk out of a gold one.
And at an angle:

Of course, I had to put it on some stairs for the LOLs.

Dalek says: Oh, bother.

It was definitely the hardest thing I’ve knitted, and I had to learn several new skills to complete it, but it was so worth it and such a pleasure to see the look on the recipient’s face!
