The 109th Down Under Feminists Carnival is up!
The 105th Down Under Feminists Carnival is up!
Thanks for the heads up on the David Attenborough thing, I will have one very happy 10 year old if I get tickets to that.
Assange is running for the Senate and Manning is waiting to hear if the death sentence is awaiting. What is wrong with this picture?
The article about the egg-eating vegan was very interesting, so thank you for including it. I’d eat omelettes all day if I knew anyone who had backyard chickens, as it’s hard to tell if supermarket eggs are really free-range. I remember Choice magazine had a thing ages ago about how there are more eggs marked “free-range” for sale than could ever be produced by free-range suppliers, so I’m suspicious of commercial ones.
TAK, since you’re in Melbourne, CERES Community Environment Park in Brunswick has free-range chooks you can inspect before you buy the eggs! They looked fantastically contented to me when I saw them on the AdaCamp weekend in January.
