Just watched ep 2 (i missed the first) of dumb drunk and racist on iview and cried the whole way though… I would love to hear what others think of the show.
I’ve seen an episode of that show too, Alien Tea – it’s quite shocking, isn’t it?

Alien Tea, I’ve had to watch the episodes through twice, and I’m still unsure what I think about it. Which I suppose is a review of sorts!

The comments! Distinct vein of “women are prudes”, even though the article lays out clear reasons other than prudishness for wanting not to be filmed.
Can someone put me to bed with a hot water bottle and then remind me to take my antibiotics tonight and make me take them even though in some ways, but different ways, they are just as bad as the infection they are supposed to fight?

I’m not infectious and I think lemon might make things uncomfortable – think cranberry juice. Although the antibiotics are making me feel less sick tonight and I have a snoring 6yr old keeping me warm in bed. Hugs gratefully accepted.

Just got back from Queer Collaborations, a conference about queer student issues. It was in Adelaide. They have loud nasty street preachers in Adelaide. 150 of us staged an impromptu dance party protest next to them to drown out their hate speech. There was lots of kissing, and one guy proposed to his boyfriend. It was brill.
