Facebook changes luck for lonely cat

Image Source: SMH – cat with RSPCA worker
Jacob had been separated from his owner for three years, and when he was found and his microchip checked the contact phone number had been disconnected. A suggestion that the owner might have a Facebook page however enabled the RSPCA to track her down.
There’s even a Friday the 13th connection (thus the use of “luck” in the SMH headline): Jacob went missing on a Friday the 13th in 2005, and his owner picked him up on Friday 13th last week.
This is such a cheery tale that I can even forgive the SMH for tagging the picture above with the caption “Paws for Effect”. Just.
