This Ben Goldacre piece on AIDS quack Matthias Rath is worth reading. It was supposed to be in his book Bad Science but Rath was suing him. Now that is dropped he is providing it free under CC licence. Very scary.

I have a question for Tigtog, I remember reading about your breast reduction awhile back (I’m a regular lurker here but I’ve only left a comment or 2) and I was wondering if I could ask for a few questions about the few days immediately before and after the surgery (mine’s scheduled for this Thursday).
If there’s an open thread this should be moved to let me know, or you can just respond to the email I’m commenting under if you have the time.
