  1. I was shocked by the figure going around various blogs and Tumblrs that the international average life expectancy if you’re trans is 23. 23! Helen of Questioning Transphobia has delved into this a little bit and it may not be quite as bad as that, thank goodness, but it’s unarguable that discrimination and transphobia is lethal to many people. Lest we forget.

  2. The fact that life expectancy is anything less than the average (White, western) age is extremely tellling. Thinking of those gone before their time today.
