Quick Hit: Beautiful portraits

Huffpost has an article up on a series of portraits done by Chloe Aftel of agender teens. The photography is stunning and the teens themselves are lovely. Chloe has captured that fragility of teens without stripping them of their determination to be who they are.  I suspect comments are being heavily moderated because there aren’t any really awful trolls getting through that I saw. Of course there is the usual confusion about what agender actually means but on the whole most are of the ‘aren’t they lovely young people’ variety. My only criticism would be that there don’t seem to be anyone who isn’t able to be read as white. Of course that doesn’t mean that they aren’t POC. But perhaps this is a result of needing to be safe too.
