Yesterday I learnt that this is a bumper sticker that has been seen around town. I guffawed because I’d already been enjoying a congenial lunch with witty women and had laughed sufficiently that I had arrived at the point where guffawing burst forth, even though we hadn’t been drinking. In retrospect it’s not that funny, although I do admire its pertinent snark.
My lunchmates were Susoz, Elsewhere and M-H and her non-blogging friend. I hadn’t read M-H’s blog before, but will have to start now! We nattered on for a couple of hours and suddenly realised that it had been a couple of hours, and that various parking meters, employers and children awaited us, so we departed on our appointed rounds.
I enjoy starting the New Year by meeting bloggers new to me – I shall have to try and make it a tradition.
