Mindy, I read HKT a few months ago when it was recommended by my friend Karen; I loved it and can’t wait for the next in the series. If anyone’s interested; sample chapters are available at Nora’s website (here) for anyone who wants a bit of a preview to see if they’re likely to be interested before they buy it. It’s the best high fantasy I’ve read in the long time.
Given Abbott’s notorious religiosity, perhaps it should be the Audacity of Pope.
