Some newcomers to Hoyden may have received the impression, over the past few weeks, that I think otters are cute little cuddly furry things. Nothing could be further from the truth. Vicious little weasels, the lot of them, and I love them for it.
Here’s a video of otters showing a crocodile just who’s in charge. The original uploader (that video is now removed) had titled it “Otters will fuck you up.” Never a truer word was spoken.

It’s the penultimate day of our New Zealand holiday, we’re about to go out for a late breakfast and then wander around Auckland.
We’ve had a lovely time and seen and done lots but we’ll have to come back again ’cause there’s lots we missed too 🙂
I have taken over 900 photos in 2 weeks, wonder if I’ll hit 4 figures by the time we fly good tomorrow!
Fly home, not good. Bloody phone.
