The trailer features all the Doctor’s incarnations and a selection of friends and foes. It’s not giving anything much away except a sense of portent:
Video transcription
(Voice of Eleven as we see the parade of 50 years of the Doctor’s incarnations)
I’ve been running all my lives
Through time and space
Every second of every minute of every day for over 900 years
I’ve fought for peace in a universe at war
Now the time has come to face the choices I’ve made in the name of The Doctor
Our future depends on one single moment of one impossible day
The day I’ve been running from all my life
The Day of the Doctor
(Eleven catches and brandishes his sonic screwdriver, theme swells as camera pans out to a galaxy-scape and credits)
This is supposed to be official artwork, but I can only find it on one tumblr. I like it though.

Nicely done.

Cool trailer!
This may be well known to Whovians, but in case you were unaware, ABC’s iView is currently holding classic episodes of Dr Who. The very first episodes were there recently, and episodes featuring the fourth Doctor are available.
On another forum, someone theorised that the JH Doctor came before the First Doctor, and that most of his life has been spent making up for whatever JH did. That squares with the “running from all my life” line, but not so much the “one that broke the promise” line. (And Brain of Morbius seemed to suggest that One wasn’t truly the first).
I’d prefer that to the Time War, anyway, which a lot of people are treating as what it’ll axiomatically be about.

I know what you mean. I think his whole run’s been about setting this up, and I’m not sure whether to count that as good or bad.
