  • This morning I am preemptively addressing SAD

    It’s one of those gorgeous brisk sunny winter mornings in Sydney, so I am working at the beach. My iPhone tells me that the temperature is 14 degrees Celsius, and it feels like it in the wind, but I am up in one of the picnic shelters facing the sun and out of the wind, so I might soon haveto take my fleecy off. Apologies for dodgy webcam shot.

    So, does any reader work for a company which has prioritised normalising promotion/pay structures for employees who made sacrifices during the GFC? Or are you one of the many being overlooked while restoring company profits for the benefit of shareholders takes priority? Or does your company actually seem to be managing the balancing act for both employees and shareholders?
