    The footage is from Carlin’s 2005 HBO special, Life is Worth Losing. He was in a pretty dark place that year, as the gravestones on the set suggest… However, it very definitely was not the “last” piece he did in any sense. It wasn’t even his last HBO special; his 2008 special, It’s Bad For Ya!, may be seen here.
