“Breast Milk Has Mums Expressing Happiness”: New Zealand lactation consultants – lactation consultants, of all people! – were reportedly “stunned” that adoptive mothers can breastfeed. When is healthcare going to catch up with something that most civilisations have known forever?

For more information on adoptive breastfeeding, check out the Four Friends resource site and message boards.

  1. My first thought: ZOMG they got Barbie(TM) to model!

  2. Well to be fair, if the woman had a labia, you’d be able to tell that those would be the most uncomfortable pair of panties in the world!

  3. actually, i find the skivvy ad completely logical: those are obviously the only type of underwear this poor woman can wear, because NOT ONLY does she not have labia, she also has a tragic genetic condition in which the skin of her inner thighs is fused to the skin covering her mons pubis; thus, she is unable to move her legs apart and cannot wear traditionally crotched skivvies. (this condition is most clearly observed in the picture with the black undies).

  4. That’s a really bad photoshop… done by someone who knows nothing about anatomy. You wonder if he’s (It’s gotta be a ‘he’) never seen a women in the buff before.

  5. On a less serious note, I love the pacman cake – genius!
Rayedishs last blog post..It seems that people continue to go to extremes to ensure that they have a son

  6. The most fabulous collection of eclectic links I’ve ever seen, I think.
Please consider putting posts with great big NSFW pictures in them behind a cut-away link, please please, well the pictures bit anyway. I know you’ve responded to this before, and haven’t wanted to do it, and you’ve said don’t read it at work if you’re worried about NSFW stuff, but I can’t help it, I can’t stop myself from reading HAT at work, in front of people, and occasionally getting my fingers burnt. From a distance the non-existant labia photos looked very interesting to passing colleagues.

The skin fusion is kinda scary. The black-undied fauxbabe looks like she is holding herself in that gotta-pee flexed position purely because her skin contractures stop her from straightening up.

Ah, I’d double-checked that and thought “SFW”, because it’s shopped to within an inch of its life (and happily out there on Amazon). But I can rearrange.
