Carnival! Submissions close on January 2 for December posts.

The Twentieth Edition of the Down Under Feminists Carnival is fast approaching! There are around 3 days until the close of submissions, so get your posts in as soon as possible.

This edition will be hosted by PharaohKatt at Something More Than Sides. The optional theme is Optional theme: Feminism and Childcare. (So, breastfeeding, parental leave, adoption, childcare as feminism…) – but you can submit anything you like. December is traditionally a fairly light month for blogging, so now’s a great time to leap in if you’ve never participated before!

Submit your December posts, or those any other Australian or New Zealander feminist, at blogcarnival. If you can’t access the blogcarnival captcha, you can email submissions this month to pharaohkatt at gmail dot com .

Please spread the word about this carnival (including the links in this post) to your feminist blogging networks.

For more information about the carnival, and about how to volunteer to host a carnival, see the main Down Under Feminists Carnival page.

Anna has a roundup of other carnivals at FWD/Forward – the 62nd Disability Blog Carnival, the 11th Carnival of Feminists, and the 5th Asian Women’s Blog Carnival. Please check them out, and join on in. The Carnival of Feminists in particular is looking for non-American posts this year.
