One in 10 female students have experienced sexual violence while at university and more than one-third have been sexually harassed, according to a new survey by the National Union of Students (NUS).
The NUS surveyed nearly 1,500 young women from universities across the country at the end of last year about safety on campus.
Three-quarters of respondents said they sometimes or always feel unsafe on campus at night.
There’s a full report on 7.30 ACT tonight.
