Feed the Blogroll!

It’s a while since we updated our links – who have we missed in the new voices department? Has any of the links we already have on the list changed to a new domain? If you regularly comment here and we’ve neglected to add you to our blogroll, tell us!

  1. The Girls Read Comics blog isn’t active anymore 😦
I have become increasingly fond of Heroine Content. It critiques movies and such and is awesome.
.-= PharaohKatt´s last blog ..The Thousand Voices =-.

  2. Me! I have a politics/pro-choice blog!
    .-= liz´s last blog ..VOTE TODAY!!!! =-.

  3. Would love to be included. Am blogging on general feminist stuff in the UK. Obviously, the “stuff” is highly worthwhile feminist critique…

  4. Fugitivus is an obvious omission!
You don’t have Geek Feminism which has cross-over commenters and posters. In that general area, The Border House (computer gaming analysis with an anti-oppression focus) is good too.
DW’s linkspam is on hiatus but would be a worthwhile link.
I’ve been following Stuff White People Do, which is an anti-racist ally’s blog. It isn’t perfect (particularly, but not only, the comment section) but perhaps roll-able.
Minor potential corrections: it seems IBTP’s author prefers “Jill” to “Twisty” now (although I don’t follow IBTP extremely closely, so might miss nuance there), and I find bluemilk’s description in the blogroll a little dismissive. (Perhaps it was her tagline at some point? I don’t know if there’s a backstory, but if I encountered it first in HaT’s blogroll I’d think “uh… hrm that sounds a bit off.”)
I’ve only done a bit of clicking around for dead/moved stuff, but unsurprisingly “101 Uses for a John Howard” hasn’t been updated since 08. The original Carnival of Feminists has died, the new one is here although I see they’re also getting a little out of date. The link to kateharding.net should probably be titled “Shapely Prose” since it hasn’t been just Kate for ages.

  5. Heh, got spamminated I think! Probably a risk for this thread, so if anyone else presses “Send your comment” and nothing comes up on the next page view, that’s what I’d bet happened.
And one more fix for you: Ricky Buchanan is now at http://rb.dreamwidth.org/

  6. Just in case PharaohKatt or anyone else missed it like I did for a long time, the author of Girls Read Comics also blogs very regularly at Attention Rebellious Jezebels, although not so much about comics at the moment because she seems to be focussing on her YA fiction writing rather than her (comic-focussed) PhD (what a hard choice!) It’s already in HaT’s blogroll.

  7. I would like to see Feminists with FSD added.
I don’t know what the best category would be. Thank you for your consideration.

  8. The art life has left blogspot and is here: http://theartlife.com.au/
It’s now got a few authors, but (as it’s still run by one) perhaps best filed under bonza blokes 🙂

  9. I have a blog where I write about many things, some feminist, some religious, some general stuff at:
Its currently called bluebec.com for want of a better name.
.-= Rebecca´s last blog ..Public transport and disability in Melbourne =-.

  10. I have a new domain name: http://annaham.net 🙂

  11. Well, I don’t know about ‘regular’, but occasional commenter I can do.
    I Am Not Cake, http://iamnotacake.wordpress.com

  12. I’ve been blogging at Teaspoon of Sugar – http://sugarteaspoon.wordpress.com/
The idea behind it is that it’s a ‘happy feminism’ blog – feminist-friendly light relief and celebrations of progress.
    .-= Kirstente´s last blog ..Brontesaurus! =-.

  13. Finally got around to adding all these awesome links to the actual blogroll. Sorry for the delay – the past few weeks have been a bit tough on the old to-do list.
