‘unredeemably’ is a perfectly cromulent word

whether Alan Greenspan deserves internet immortality more for referring to a hypothetically invisible entity as “unredeemably opaque” or for the phrase which spawned this epic Crooked Timber thread.

I await the inevitable memetic offspring.

  1. Strange that I just posted a blog update that ALSO draws on the “perfectly cromulent” meme. (I think Procrastilaxing is a MUCH more cromulent word. But I am biased!)
