DEADLY tornados and flash floods flattened buildings and overturned vehicles yesterday as major storms churned through the south of the US, with the death toll surpassing 220 people.
States of emergency were declared in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Oklahoma, and governors called out the National Guard to help with rescue and clean-up operations.
My thoughts and well-wishes for the safety of any readers who may be in harm’s way. Take care.
300 tornados in just on a week – I can’t even imagine it.
