xkcd pwns teh internets

I don’t know why any of us are even bothering to pretend that xkcd is not our new insect overlord (except for Cory Doctorow, who escaped in that bloody balloon).

Excuse me. I have to go and save that map, open it up in Photoshop and expand it so that I can read all the labels.

I want an anthropomorphic dragon.

  1. I see it’s a case of the dreaded careful-what-you-wish-fors.
I obviously need to specify the serene and stylish (don’t forget kewl) sensei type anthropomorphic dragon, not the comic-relief bumbling sidekick type anthropomorphic dragon.
Although, that one looks like he’s singing the blues – choices, choices.

  2. re: xkcd: I desperately love this one for some reason.

  3. Chris, I know a few others who are peculiarly attached to that one too, for some strange reason.
(For those unused to xkcd comics, do make sure that you move your mouse over the image to read the alt-text tag-gag. If you’ve disabled that mouse-feature, a right-click on the image and then clicking “properties” should enable reading of the tag-gag).
