The lad has become rather fascinated with rules, robbers, and law and order. He is hopping mad that “squiggle-robbers” have graffitied the sign and wall at his kindy, and keeps coming up with plans to trap any robbers that try to break into our house. He tied his Spiderman toy down with kitestring last night so that it couldn’t be stolen, and has been carefully formulating plans to create a robber-cage in the backyard, with tripwires, pulleys, and a system of trenches involved. (No, I’ve no idea what the trenches do either).

In more cheery plans, he’s been sketching out vegetable garden ideas. Corn, pumpkins, tomatoes, strawberries and carrots are all high-priority plantings.
