Sorry all – supervising and exhorting a teen feeling horribly overwhelmed by Year 10 homework is currently consuming most of the time I would otherwise use for blogging.

Just put a post up at FF101 though in response to a reader question: How is asking the question “Why are there no fat elves in Dungeons and Dragons?” offensive to feminists?

  1. I was wondering where you’d been! 🙂 I’m glad to hear that it’s an eminently work-through-able situation that’s been keeping you away — best of luck to the struggling tiglet.

I’ve been occupied by rewatching all 5 series of Babylon 5 in the evenings. Not so good for blogging, but very good for knitting.
Sympathy to the beleaguered year 10 student.
Deborah’s last blog post..Mr Strange Land is very clever

  3. Miss you Viv. Hope we see you back soon.

  4. Oh dear. Much sympathy to both of you.

  5. Hi there! I also found Year 10 a bit much (in the first term, there was a point at which I had thirteen assignments simultaneously). All the best.
Deborah, I recently took up knitting and I’m finding TV a great way to go.

  6. Ahhh, knitting in front of TV with my partner knitting beside me. My favourite way to spend an evening. Old, boring and content, that’s me.
