My daughter got her head stuck in a cat door last week. Of course it was the week hubby was away. Everytime I touched her she screamed blue murder and I was worried I might hurt her. After 20 minutes of trying to get her out I gave in and called the ambulance. Of course once they arrived she was out in about 30 seconds. I think they’d done it before. My daughter is fine, my blood pressure has returned to normal and I’m almost over the monumental embarrassment.
Admin: Am I linking to the pictures in the right way? I can’t see html on the end.
Mindy – perfect. Yes, I’ve just realised ICHC doesn’t put .html on the end – I’ll amend the advice.
Thank goodness for emergency services!
Oh, wow, Mindy! I’m glad she’s okay. Speaking of parenthood…

The cheese of the week was great – usually I just smirk, but that one I genuinely laughed out loud. I suspect I frightened the goldfish.

I had to pick this one because it’s not so different from the scene with our cat the other night at the vet’s. We took her to be fixed, and she was quiet and calm for the whole trip, but as soon as the vet took her out of the cage she flipped out, ran all over the room and literally climbed the walls, I was quite impressed with how far she got actually. Anyway, they got her and sedated her, and the op was done and now she’s recovering poor thing. I’m just glad it’s all over with.
