A Scottish comedian whose name I can’t remember now once said (paraphrasing) “keep a close eye on how your airports are treating you, because that’s how the authorities would like to treat you all the time”.
- When Paul Chambers was arrested and fined for posting a jocular message to micro-blogging site Twitter in which he threatened to blow up northern England’s Robin Hood Airport if it didn’t reopen in time for his flight, it caused a minor stir.
- Adam C. Pearson was asked to step off his Delta Air Lines flight after another passenger noticed his tattoos and reported him for suspicious behaviour.

Tigtog, your Scottish comedian is Frankie Boyle. As part of the same gag, he pointed out that Glasgow Airport was the worst airport in the world in which to stage a terrorist incident, as it sees more violence on a weekly basis in the Ryanair Queue to Malaga.
The one I’m thinking of was a woman, actually. I wonder who did it first?
