It’s my good friend ohmykozy’s birthday tomorrow (and mine as well).
She was out tonight, as was I, watching the eclipse (separately). She took her jazzy camera along, and if you click on the thumbnail below you can have a look at one of her shots.
Tomorrow there should be gazillions of excellent shots of the eclipse going up on websites all over the world. Please feel free to leave a link to any particularly excellent ones in comments.

I have no pics but what was great was seeing people outside gazing up at the moon this evening. Much more interesting and memorable than Oz Idol.
And happy birthday for tomorrow tig!
Happy Birthday You! Hope the moon went down (up) nicely with some birthday cake.
Thank you both. No birthday cake yet, that’s for tomorrow (mr tog has taken the day off and we will be lunching as well).
Shaun, we watched the initial shadowing of the umbra at home and then herded the kids towards Sydney Park for totality. The hill near the parking lot was full of young folks, families and motley dogs having the night of their life. Terrific atmostphere.
We took our 7×50 binoculars – great viewing.
Ah, this explains the many views on my Flickr page 🙂
‘Twas wonderful to watch, was it not? Our little cul de sac was almost in street party mode, so many folk were out.
And, yes, this was a much better way to spend the evening than watching Idol!
Happy birthday again for tomorrow, tigtog. Enjoy your lunch with Mr Tog 🙂
I definietely will.
Everyone should now go back to ohmykozy’s page and check out her compilation image Blood Moon Trail.
(And if you’re a photography geek, check out her other shots of flowers and nature and built environment and people.)

Happy birthday to you both! Have a great day. Mine is this week too.
Then happy birthday to you, too, Su. Have a lovely day!
Happy Brithday ^^
Thank you, everyone! I had a lovely day today – buying a new camera and having lunch with the husband and the sister at a favorite haunt.
I’m now pleasantly squiffy after a seafood dinner with bubbles, Sauvignon Blanc and a Botrytis dessert wine. Yum!
