Well, there’s my morning gone. 🙂
I really liked the Rock arrangement of Canon in D.
Eeek… I can remember dancing far too many of those dances in the discos of my youth!!! 🙂
Huge fun! Thanks for sharing that one! 🙂
😦 Apparently no women sing songs we dance to. Woe.
That totally needed Spice Girls. 😉
There was a brief nod to the Bangles with Walk like an Egyptian, but yes, I think that’s it. I never paid that much attention to the Spice Girls – did they have particularly distinctive dance styles? Because while there’s heaps of fab female vocal artists, how many of them actually created a dance craze, which is the point of the clip?
So who else should be there?
* Nutbush City Limits
* Mickey
* Something from Donna Summers just for being the Queen of 70’s disco
Something from Abba – Mamma Mia?
The Locomotion
Vogue
Time Warp (ok, only part female-sang)
Of course Mickey (though if they were being bloody-mindedly masculine, they’d do the original Kitty)
